With his Project Aikozan the German-Jamaican musician Geronimo Dehler has set out on a mission to re-animate – breathe back life into an art form that by most people in it's homeland has been considered either childish, repulsive or simply dead:

Geronimo draws from a wide array of musical influences from both oriental and Afro-Caribbean styles to create a vocal interpretation and an instrumental accompaniment that has never been heard in this context before.
